Being a parent is one of life’s most intense and transformative experiences. It is also one of the most demanding. In everyday parenting, we sometimes face situations we do not know how to handle: tantrums, conflicts, difficult communication, adolescence, and boundaries. At these times, having a space for reflection and learning can make a difference.
The parenting workshops at Centre )Eines( provide a space for support and shared learning, combining theoretical understanding with practical tools for everyday family life. A place to share experiences, develop skills, and reflect on parenting through a respectful approach that considers emotions and relationships.
We draw on approaches such as Parentology, developed by Gonan Premfors and Johan Premfors, which views parenting as an opportunity to build conscious, meaningful relationships with children. We also incorporate insights from Daniel J. Siegel’s interpersonal neurobiology, which highlights how children’s brain development is deeply influenced by their relationships and by emotional co-regulation with the key adults in their lives.
Understand your children’s emotional world so you can better support them at every stage.
Specific tools you can use in everyday family life from day one.
The group provides a space for support, shared reflection, and collective learning.
A respectful, nonjudgmental approach to your role as a parent.
The workshops are experiential and participatory. Rather than lectures or a series of talks, they provide a place where families learn from their own experiences and support one another throughout the process.
Each session explores a specific topic—boundaries, communication, emotions, or adolescence—using real situations shared by participants. Learning starts with lived experience rather than abstract theory.
Each topic is explored from three perspectives: what the child or adolescent is feeling, how this is expressed in their behavior, and what is happening in the parent-child relationship. This integrated approach helps participants better understand what is happening and find more appropriate ways to respond.
Each session ends with practical tools and strategies that participants can start using at home right away. The aim is to bring what is learned in the group into each family’s everyday life.
The workshops focus on the main issues parents face and think about in everyday parenting, always through a respectful approach that considers emotions and relationships.
If you would like to take part in the workshops or organize a group at your school or organization, get in touch. We will provide information about the next available program, with no obligation.
